We offer vaccinations for $18 per vaccination which is less expensive than some other medical centres in the area and if you are just coming in for the vaccination we will bulk bill the visit if it is for the vaccination alone. However, you will need to tell reception on bookng that it is just for a flu shot. If you are visiting us for other medical problems we can give you the vaccination as part of the visit. If you are a business and are looking to vaccinate your staff, please contact us for
more information on how we run our corporate vaccination program.
Am I eligible for the free Government flu shot?
This year, the government will fund the Quadrivalent vaccine for the following groups:
• People with medical conditions predisposing to severe influenza (aged 6 months and over)
• People aged 65 years and over
• All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 15 years and over
• All pregnant women
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from six months to less than five years of age
What’s the benefit of having my flu shot performed by a GP in a medical centre rather than a Chemist?
It is good medicine that you have your yearly flu shot administered by your GP as they have your medical history, can keep a record of your vaccinations and discuss any medical concerns with you in a private setting.
